In this unit I have learnt about conditional and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences "if" or "when". There are five main conditionals, zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional. I have learnt about teaching ideas that you can split the sentences, complete the conditional, chain the conditional, what a question, nuclear bunker role and what would happen if. I have learnt about the reported speech and direct speech, verb tenses and how to change the reported using pronouns. This unit clarified on how to change direct speech to reported speech.I have also learnt time expressions,today becomes that day, yesterday becomes the day before or the previous day. Tomorrow becomes the next day or the day after. These changes needs to be taught as students progress through the levels. I have also learnt about teaching ideas, intermediaries, reporting verbs and media interviews.
