This unit laid out different ways in which I can establish good rapport with my students as a teacher as well as ways in which I can foster good rapport between the students, ways in which I can have control over my class, ways in which I can be the most effective during teacher talk time, and ways to lessen teacher talk time and increase student talk time. The unit also was useful in giving tips and advice for dealing with student behavior problems and gave realistic classroom organization tips (such as different classroom layouts and different ways of grouping students for activities).
