In this unit about teaching the new language to students, the language's vocabulary, grammar, and functions are discussed. The vocabulary portion discussed orders and ways to teach vocabulary, how one can choose the words to teach, what students need to know about the word, and a sample lesson plan. The grammar portion was similar, mentioning ways to teach it and what the students need to know, as well as a sample lesson plan. The functions section showed what teaching functions consisted of, and a sample lesson plan. I learned the differences between what a function is and what grammar is. I also learned that there are numerous ways to teach vocab, and many are just preference.
