Through this unit, I was able to brush up on English parts of speech that I had learned back in middle school as well as learn new parts of speech that I had never labeled before. Of course, as a native English speaker, abiding by all of the grammatical rules of English comes as second nature, but this unit allowed me to think about how exactly I could explain certain grammatical rules and think about and create useful example to demonstrate clearly the differences between certain words/parts of speech.
