In this unit, two videos of ESA classes were shown. In each video, the same instructor teaches the same group of students. However, in the first video, the instructor does an ineffective job in engaging his students and does not make them feel comfortable. In the second video, the teacher is much more effective in making his classroom a comfortable and safe space for learning. It was interesting to compare and contrast each video as the content of the lesson remained the same throughout both of them. However, the students responses to the material differed greatly with the variation in teaching technique.
