This unit on the different parts of speech went over the basics of English grammar. It consisted on nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, conjunctions and prepositions, articles, prepositions, and adverbs. The unit didn't just mention what each of these was, but went more into depth on the different types within each part of speech, as well as some rules that govern or usually govern a majority of the part of speech's word structure. I learned that prepositions are oftentimes one of the most difficult part of speech for students to grasp and as well it is hard to teach, due to the fact that there is no concrete uniformity in its placement. As well, I feel that I relearned many things that I had been taught, such as the different types of pronouns, and transitive vs. intransitive verbs.
