This unit went over course textbooks and lesson materials. Topics such as authentic vs. created materials, advantages and disadvantages of textbook usage, examples of created materials, how to best use a course book, how to analyze which textbook to select for the class, and options for course book use were discussed. In the lesson, I learned that it is best if there is a textbook for the class to use, that it has many benefits to both students and the teacher, and that I just need to select it carefully, making sure that I won't become to reliant on using it instead of using my own teaching abilities.
