I felt this was a very insightful unit on the roles of the teacher and student. I learned to be a good teacher is to be passionate about your students' learning. There are many different roles that teachers need to be in order to have successful students. I felt motivating the students is one of the keys to success in the classroom. If you can motivate your students while teaching basic subject matter in an interactive entertaining way that many students will benefit more than a lecture type style lesson. There are also many different types of learners as far as age and levels of english comprehension. From Beginners to Advanced there is always more learning to be done for a motivated student. In conclusion I feel being a good teacher is loving what you do and knowing what role to play and the right time to play it.
