Test, test, and more test. This unit helps elucidate the purpose of and the unique attributes of evaluation. It is easy to forget that tests aren't just for grades but for evaluation in order to assist the student in learning. Too often test get a bad reputation. Yet, this unit showed that a tool of evaluation can be a great benefit not only in helping a student see the progress made but also pave way for a better path of learning ahead by highlighting areas that still need attention. It was easy to get bogged down in the number of test and the types of test and who offers what test but in the end, the unit helped show that evaluation can never be overlooked.
