This unit discussed reported and direct speech and conditionals. The conditionals that were reviewed were the zero, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and mixed conditionals. Both the conditionals and reported speech went over typical student mistake advice, and teaching ideas for both topics. One thing I learned in this lesson, is that as a native speaker myself, I even get confused on what the proper way to use reported speech is. Especially looking at these last 4 questions, there seems like 2 or 3 answers in each of the options that sound correct to me. So this tells me that it is important to teach it to the students, but they will not always hear the correct ways to say a reported speech sentence, and it is okay if they aren't perfect at it either.
