In this first unit, I learned all about the various roles a teacher must take on in the classroom--anything from manager to participant. It is the job of the teacher to know which role to employ at different stages in the students' learning process. This lesson also discussed things that affects learners, such as their age, culture, language level, and motivation. The conclusion of this unit is that a good teacher will most likely yield motivated and successful learners.
