This lesson has been more difficult for me than past lessons. I feel that this has been a good thing however because I have come to realize that I shouldn't become comfortable with a normal routine of language learning. What I mean by this is that many of the grammatical phrases covered in this section are phrases that I have taken for granted. In a way, I have had (and I have no doubt that in future lessons this pattern will continue) to relearn what a grammatical phrase in the present continuous form might be laid out. Upon relearning this I now realize the struggles many of my students might have in memorizing these various rules and exceptions and I feel I am better prepared to assist them in understanding the language be it through new activities to gauge their interest.
