I have leant that a good teacher should be fair,knowledgable and motivate students. A good learner should be willing to learn, experiment and accept mistakes. The various roles of a teacher are being a manager,assessor,organiser,tutor,prompter,facilitator ,monitor and model. Young learners have less life experience whereas adult learners have good or bad experiences and a fixed expectation. The level of learners are beginners, elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate. Age groups 2 to 7 have short attention spans and can be taught through games. Age groups 8 to 13 are more receptive and willing to take risks. Age group 14 to 18 are unmotivated, self conscious and less likely to take risks.
