Unit 9 highlights the importance of lesson planning, especially for inexperienced teachers. The Unit explains that lesson planning can be advantageous for conducting the lesson in a way that teacher can be ready to manage the class in an efficient way and to deal with some problems during the lesson. It also explains that lesson planning can be a kind of aid for seeing the lesson goals, such as expectations from students that they should achieve by the end of the lesson. The Unit notes that lesson plan can be flexible and doesn’t require the rigid script of the lesson. It can be changed and adapted to the necessary conditions.
