There are two videos given for us to compare and reflect. In the first lesson there is no connection between the students and the teacher because there was no formal introduction. The engage phase wasn’t done properly. So the students had no idea what the lesson is about. Whereas in the second lesson the engage phase had a lot of student talk time. They were aware of what is being talked about. In the first lesson the study phase is quite unclear to students because the teacher speaks very quickly and unclearly. The worksheets weren’t done with understanding. The mistakes weren’t corrected properly. Whereas the students were well prepared even before receiving the worksheets in the second lesson. The activity phase was very confusing and pointless during the first lesson. The students did not understand the activity and how to participate. During the second lesson, they understood the game and knew what they were doing. So participated enthusiastically and as a result understood the lesson which serves the purpose of the activate activity.
