Listening and speaking for me has been considered the most important ingredient learning the English language or so I have been made to think. From this unit I am confident that all four basic skills are equally important in learning any language at all so that a learner would be complete. Reading and listening are indeed for reasons. Some for exam purposes, for leisure and entertainment. Reading and listening transcends our eyes and ears to preexistnt knowledge if we are also to understand what what we read and listen to. With understanding our minds are a necessity to understand . Specialist skills employed when reading and listening have been definitely clearer to me. Knowledge I have had on receptive has indeed been broadened by this unit.
