I think many of the topics covered in this unit can be particularly helpful in my future teaching career. Specifically, I found that the information on how to best utilize audio and video media sources to teach to be something I will look back on often in the future. As eluded to on page 6, I believe the increasing relevance of smartphones make using audio and video in classrooms easier for teacher and students alike. Moreover, it seems to me that given that technology has become an even greater part of peoples lives in recent years, it should be emphasized more in lessons to keep the interest of the students and make they lessons more relevant to them.
