Unit 7 emphasized that students has to do something about a new language learned. Students can do so by exposing themselves to the language, understand its meaning and how it is constructed, and produce stretches of language as a means to practice it. The unit also reiterated the appropriateness of variants of ESA method to a particular context of language teaching which is either grammar-based or functions-based. I also learned about the techniques in teaching vocabulary, grammar and functions.
