In the first video the teacher seems to have arrived late for the lesson and when he proceeds with the lesson he does not bother to introduce himself and does not seem to know the names of his students. In the second video he first introduces himself and also asks the students to introduce themselves making the learning atmosphere more conducive/breaking the ice. The students in video two seem to be more vibrant and participate more because the teacher is less intimidating than in the first video. Students in the second video are made to work in pairs or threes which is encouraging them to practice the language in talking to each other.
