This unit is all about lesson planning, why it is so important to plan our lessons. Planning helps us organize our activities, administrate our time in class the best we can, keep a record of what has been done it, refer to a basis whenever necessary, work to achieve the main objectives of our lessons, make sure we cover the contents, and many other benefits.
As a teacher, I deeply understand and think that it’s essential to plan our lessons. This way, by studying this unit I could reinforce what I knew about planning, and I learned about the main points we need to include in the structures of our lessons to make our teaching strategies more effective. But above all, I think this material gave me great guidance on how to anticipate problems, to avoid having gaps in my classes, as well as how important self-evaluation can be as it can help us improve our skills and keep good wuality of teaching.
