This unit covers common problem situations that ESL teachers find in their classrooms. First differentiating between new groups and existing groups the unit highlights techniques to build rapport not just between teacher and student but also student to student. After Describing 'warmers', this unit deals with the issues arising from large classes, different language levels and reluctant students. I thoroughly appreciated the assistance presented in this unit to each of these causes of problem situations, particularly 'Warmers' and the use of 'group leaders'.
