It is important to note that certain phrases or facts can mean different things if said in a certain way especially by somebody who is not a native speaker of English. I as a non native speaker of the English language have observed that a lot of students/ people make mistakes especially when talking about past and present situations. From the teaching techniques given in this unit it is clear that a lot of activities are used to encourage and the speaking of English especially when students are given different situations to act out. I completely agree with these teaching techniques as I have observed first hand(in my own situation) that these activities promote the use of correct English terminologies.
