Being my first lesson in any teaching class, I took this lesson in parts. Focusing on each section to truly understand roles of both the teacher and learner. Having taught the past 4 years, it's interesting to now understand the differences in learners, having taught kindergarten, elementary and middle school. I could have had the same skill with each of these students, but the lesson that I had prepared had to be changed in order to accommodate the lack of motivation that came from the middle school students and the need for fun activities for the kindergarten class. I am grateful for this section since I know that in the future, the experiences, motivation, and expectations of adult students in the future may be much different that I have experienced in the past.
