Once again for this unit I was able to draw from my current job as a teacher and my past experience as an English teacher. However, having never taught a business English class it was insightful to know about the things a teacher needs to keep in mind of when teaching such a group compared to students. For example, business english students are generally working adults and could be tired when coming to class so I have to be very flexible and be able to understand how the class is doing to adjust as needed to fit the needs at that time. Also, since many come from a very specific industry I need to be aware what their goals are.
