This unit describes the most common methods and techniques to teach and learn languages, their features, how they work, advantages and disadvantages, and what teachers should do to make sure students get the most of their learning process, regardless of the method they are studying with. In this unit I was able to learn a lot about the Engage, Study and Activate approach, which respects the most important aspects to keep the best conditions for teaching and learning.
Based on the approach mentioned before, in this unit we are also provided with a lot of examples of activities and where we could use them according to the different stages of ESA lessons and how we can combine them for greater flexibility. The same when it comes to correction techniques, the material also offers great guidance and techniques on when and how to correct students effectively, by keeping a low anxiety atmosphere and help students understand. I think of all these will definitely be useful and I’d love to practice some of the activities in my classes and codes when correcting writing activities.
