Classroom Management as part of the whole is a key essential point in this course, since it deals with the teaching environment and classroom flow. My reflections about this topic are rather an opinion of some aspects that one as teacher may encounter in a classroom such us: diverse students’ personalities, group’s size, age, motivation, language background, school principals or rules, among others. These items will make each teacher start using a self-set of tools to deal with it. These resources, starting from the basics are: teacher’s tone and voice volume, body language or gestures, and eye contact. However, there are other aids more or less elaborated perhaps like setting the chairs or desks in a particular way to have some level of intimacy and more approachability to each participant in order to build rapport (teacher – student), the use of visuals and/or a projector to avoid writing on the whiteboard and giving the student the back. I would say all tips and suggestions in this unit are very useful for each teacher, and the only way to master it, will come after lots of practice.
