from this unit a teacher of English should be aware of the type of group she/he has in class because each group calls for different methology and techniques. beginner group can be classfied into five different categories but some of these can be mixed although it requires special skills and psychology and a lot of language control. the teacher should also predict possible problems and deduce measures of solving or avoiding them. multilingual classes also pose some challenges although since the students have English as a common language, it becomes easier to handle it. Individual students should also be handled appropriately and skillfully. for young learners their innate curiosity motivates them to learn. ESP or Business English is being studied widely and the teacher has to be very creative even though they may not be experts in the students field. Even if the teacher has knowlwedge in the students field, he/she shoulg feign ignorance to prompt the student speak up.
