In the past I taught business English, but going forward I am not sure. Given my current situation I can expect to encounter students who are not familiar with the Roman alphabet. Luckily, with the rise of smartphones and keyboards the Roman alphabet is becoming more and more common! Still, making sure that there is an understanding of the different letters or initially teaching them is going to be hugely important. For business students I completely agree that classes normally take place at odd hours, and so keeping class engaging and different from their work is paramount.
