Two things stand out for me. The first is the attitude of the teacher. In both cases it is infectious. In the first lesson, it seems as though the teacher would rather be somewhere else, and this seems to translate to the students. In the second class, the teacher is enthusiastic about being in the room with his students, creating a safe and welcoming environment.
The second thing that stands out to me, in both lessons, is the level of preparation the teacher has to make, in terms of teaching aids, examples, and study techniques.
