Many behaviour issues can be addressed when teachers put an equal amount of time and thought into planning 'what' they will teach and then 'how' they will teach it. When these are considered students are more liek to engage, routines and expectations are established, students gain a level of confidence in the teacher, in their learning, and knowing 'how things work around here'.
