We learned about the teacher's characteristics and roles during the learning process. The teacher needs to love this process and also his students.
We also learned about the different levels of english understanding:
The Beginners goes from zero to very basic understanding. The Elementary student is able to form simple sentences. The Intermediate student is able to understand and communicate a wide variety of topics. The Upper Intermediate student still lacks some accuracy but is able to discuss a very wide range of topics. The last level is the Advanced level, it occurs when the student has a very good knowledge of both grammar and vocabulary.
We learned also about the reasons for students motivation, what can a teacher do for improve the motivation and the characteristics of a good learner.
