In this unit, I learned more than I remember learning the first time in school, but I guess that's what happens when your language is just natural after your whole life using it. I learned about the various parts of speech and the loose guidelines of when to use them appropriately. I learned about the different types of nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc. What I found most difficult to relearn was gerunds, because of the confusing way of them being a -ing form of a verb but using it in the form of a noun. It was however a good refresher on categorizing each phrase we use daily into personal vs possessive, or transitive vs intransitive verbs.
