This unit was really focused on how you as a teacher conduct yourself in a class and the significance of your actions no matter how big or small. As the instructor of the classroom, conducting yourself in a efficient and consistent way is crucial in developing and maintaining the students' English ability.
Especially in terms of how activities are managed in class. I never considered the effect that standing or sitting could have on the atmosphere of the classroom or the focus of the students. It really helps you consider your role as a teacher for when you should be involved and when you should take a step back and allow the students to function on their own.
