This unit is directed for when you find blocks or walls put up by students. Explaining how to start the course for the first day (keeping things light and focused on getting to know the student and their needs as well as establishing rapport among the students themselves) as well as when students feel reluctance to participate in the activities. And finally explaining the importance of establishing a solid foundation on their listening skills as it can be a point that is usually more challenging for the students.
