In this unit I saw many things that can help a teacher to draw up a good lesson plan for a lesson without being in total control of the class and shadowing the students as well as being a good and flexible teacher.The unit helped bring light on the disadvantages and advantages of having a lesson plan like it is an aid in planning, is a work document and also works as record.I saw that a lesson plan is rather sensitive and it requires a lot to make a good one. As a teacher one has to write it down and organise it well, including a lot of things one is looking to do in the class and may expect. For example learning objectives, personal aims, language point, teachers aim, anticipated problems, procedure, phase,timing and many other things. The unit provided a good example for a lesson plan which helped me to have an insight on what the unit was talking about in general.Reading through the example provided helped a lot as it shed light on what I will need to do when writing up a lesson plan for a lesson.
