This will be one of the parts of teaching English that I enjoy the most! The general principles surrounding lesson planning are similar to the teaching I've done in the past. I am a person who likes to have things planned out and prepared, but I am also able to be flexible and adjust on the spot to accommodate better learning. Even in my pastoral studies, planning a sermon and a series of sermons is similar to this unit on lesson planning. I especially like having the ability to analyze my teaching afterwards and keep a record of what we have taught in past classes. Over time, I know that I will be able to come up with several prepared courses of study at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of English speakers.
