This introductory unit proved to be an awareness building experience for me. It demonstrated that as trainers/teachers it is essential to read and absorb mearning resources at various levels. The multiple choice questionnaire required me to actually learn the various areas covered in the Unit in minute detail because the answers were so subtly close and mind stimulating. I learned what made a good teacher, learner and the various roles of the teacher, I learnt about motivation in the classroom and behavioural characteristeristics of teachers which impact students learning abilities I also learnt about the various levels of language (both american and european)The lesson proved to be interesting introduction to te course
