This lesson relates to the different types of materials that will be used in the classroom. I thought it was helpful to differentiate between authentic materials and created materials. It is clear that authentic materials will be better applied to more advanced learners, and created materials can be adjusted for individual needs. I also thought it was valuable to discuss the proper usage of course textbooks, as they exist as a general guideline for study, and should not be relied upon fully as an all-in-one teaching resource.
