It is a bit difficult to do, but I like reducing lessons down to bare bones structure of intentions. When it comes down to it, most if not all possible lesson activities can fit into the topics of Engage, Study and Activate. While I think there is a risk to becoming formulaic with lesson planning, I have enjoyed being able to work on making the process simpler. This way, I can make a more effective foundation for my lessons before making them too complicated.
