According to this first unit, we can see that the role of teacher and learner are equally important.
This unit provides us different roles of teacher such as manager, organizer, assessor, prompter..., and also their characteristics. Depends on the real situation of the class,teachers will need to switch beetween these roles so they will be able to encourage and engage to students. Most of the time teachers will lead and adjust themselve to support and to teach their students effectively the most.
However, to know about the leaners level is also very important. That's why we have different characteristics of the learners as well as their particular language leves such as the most common ones and the common European Framework.
