Unit 14 offered a great review from materials previously covered in the other Units. This unit also gave great examples and example materials, which I will surely adapt for my current teaching gigs/lessons. I liked that there were tips about adaptation of not only lessons but textbooks, and also some wonderful guidelines for choosing/selecting course materials and textbooks/workbooks. Maximizing the effect of a textbook is vital to having successful lessons - even the worst textbooks can have hidden gems, and if you're willing to put in the time, know your audience/students, and get a bit creative, anything can be interesting, fun and a valuable teaching point!
