Very useful unit! Watching the first video, I could immediately notice mistakes this teacher makes. Bringing bad attitude to the class results in complications and tension. I wrote down many moments when teaching methods in Video 1 were not correct. For example: not giving clear explanations, not going through the Engage phase. Behavior mistakes: pointing at students, not knowing their names, not smiling, checking the phone, being too aggressive and humiliating students. From the second video I learned that the most important thing is to smile. Smile changes everything at once. It makes students smile as well, be more interested and participate with pleasure. Also, there was a nice structure of the class in second video, Simon knew everyone's names and made students work together and speak more! What a nice change of attitude! His speech was more relaxed, students were listening carefully. He gave interesting activities and explained how to work together. Definitely it's better to follow these examples :)
