This Unit was helpful for me to understand clear delineation of the roles of teachers and students. It is useful to have a clear picture of the variety of levels when regarding quality of teaching and learning. Successful language learning relies on the efforts of both the teacher and the student, and both have important responsibilities. In my teaching experience, the most successful students are the ones who are least afraid of making mistakes. The most successful teachers are the ones who foster a supportive learning environment, where mistakes are part of the process.
