Just like with the last unit, this topic was not something I gave a lot of thought to before this unit. I assumed this was something that was decided for me. But, after reading this unit, there is a lot of decision that are up to the teacher. Understanding the benefits of certain tests and exams, as well as the best ones to use for certain outcomes is important to keep a solid grasp on the class’s learning level. I also didn’t realize how many different testing option were available, not only for schools and elementary, middle, and high school students, but learning centers, businesses, and individuals. Honestly, the amount of information about the what tests are available and what they are for was a little overwhelming.
