This unit focused on different presentations of how to properly conduct an ESA lesson. The first lesson was with the teacher jumping in right away with no explanation to the students of what they were going to learn that day. The second lesson was with the teacher already having something written on the board showing the students the direction the teacher was aiming for. I learned while watching the two lessons is that the attitude of the teacher is one of the most important things to be aware of since it sets the atmosphere for the lesson. I learned it's important to try to be personal with everyone and learn their names. The students will be more comfortable answering questions when the teacher calls on them by name. Another thing I learned while watching the two lessons is that jumping straight into an engage phase without giving any clues to what the teacher is trying to get across can confuse the students even further.
