Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit has a lot of useful information. It discusses the theories behind language learning and approaches that have been used. Generally you want to focus on one approach and use that consistently in the classroom, however you can use some aspects of different approaches. For example, you may be mostly using the PPP approach in the classroom, but you can also use aspects of audio-lingualism to drill the students. This unit gets more specific about how to create a lesson plan by describing Engage, Study, and Activate. This clearly explains the process of how the students learn to use new language in the classroom. The students are warmed up in the Engage phase by using the new language in a fun or interesting way. The teacher observes where the students need more support and gets ready to teach new language points during the Study phase. This is the time for "classwork" and correction. Finally, the students integrate the new language by using it in the Activate phase. It's important for the teacher to allow the students to use the new language with some fluency. There are variations on the Engage/Study/Activate plan, which can also be used for more advanced students. There are many activities, games, and projects the teacher can use. This unit describes many fun and clever options to keep the class from getting repetitive or boring. Correcting a student is an important but sensitive part of teaching that takes time to develop.
