Unit5 has provided me with a lot of useful info for managing classes, like when and how in an appropriate manner to use eye contact, gesture and voice, how to group students in order to make classes equally productive for everyone. The part about classroom arrangement was more for general understanding whereas the part about teacher's positions in the classroom depending on different type of activity and phase of the lesson was really interesting to bear in mind. I've got to know some info about how to reduce teacher's talking time and let students to benefit more from using the language, how to give instructions correctly so others will understand the task fully and off course it wouldn't be right not to mention the importance of establishing rapport. All tips about that I've jotted down for better memorizing. The last part about maintaining discipline was the most crucial for me as I think every teacher faces some difficulties with it and needs to know how to act appropriately.
