This unit helped to explain the importance of classroom seating arrangment and how it can effect the learning process. It helped me to understand the different techniques involved in managing a classroom including eye contact, gesturing and using my voice as an advantage. It explained the importance of different sized student grouping for activities as well as the importance of individual grouping for more focused learning. It helped me to understand the negative aspects of certain classroom arrangements and how they can be avoided. It also taught me how to avoid and handle negative classroom behavior from my students and how to approach individual students regarding their presence in the classroom.
