This unit was a great overview of the grammatical structure of the English language. As mentioned at the beginning of the unit, it is always difficult for native speakers to teach their own language without having some idea of the different sections in English grammar.
Starting with the basic parts, such as nouns and verbs, to moving down to the nitty gritty, such as adverbs and adjectives, I found it very useful. Although it is not necessary for students to know every single rule and exception there is, teachers need to be prepared and able to explain the differences.
I enjoyed reviewing what I had learnt in previous years, and learning an additional set of details.
