One of my favorite grammar topics is past tense. So, i`ve read lots of different explanations and grammar structures about past tenses. But still it is very difficult for students to see the difference between present perfect tense and past perfect tense, and also quite hard for learners to definite situations where used past continuous tense from situations where past perfect continuous is required.
